Name the finish you actually want
Do you want to retain the concrete appearance or create a decorative resin surface? A clear product should not be described as the same scope as a multilayer flake build. Ask for the exact sealer and its intended use.
Identify existing treatment
Provide old records if available. Water beading is only an observation; read the existing sealer assessment guide before assuming it identifies the chemistry.
Ask about limitations and future changes
Record appearance, cleaning, reapplication and suitability for vehicle or wet use. Ask what preparation might be needed if you later choose a decorative coating over the treated slab.
Compare the garage coating guide. Include the desired appearance and any surface history with your project request; the contractor confirms the appropriate scope.
