What belongs in the first conversation
Describe old paint, peeling, oil, cracks, visible damage and water observations. Tell the contractor about daily parking, fixed cabinets or workshop tasks. Use the measurement worksheet for approximate area and list vertical surfaces separately.
Compare the complete system
A proposal should name the preparation, repair allowance, substrate assessment, resin layers, decorative finish and topcoat. The epoxy and polyaspartic comparison explains why one chemistry label cannot describe the entire build.

Review a real finish sample, texture, included edges and the written return-to-service schedule. Ask for product names, care instructions and actual warranty terms at handover.
