Define the build you are comparing
Ask whether the finish is solid color, decorative flake or another specified effect, and which layer provides the final surface. Review coating layer roles before comparing two proposals both described as epoxy.
Ask about preparation and exposure
The quote should explain old coating removal, concrete profiling, moisture assessment and repairs. Tell the contractor about sunlight at the doorway, workshop fluids and vehicle use. Ask for product data supporting the actual recommendation.
