Read the layer names before choosing chemistry
A quote saying “epoxy floor” may still include a different topcoat chemistry. Ask for the primer, base, decorative broadcast and final surface as separate lines. See the layer-by-layer guide.

Use product data instead of family-wide promises
As one specific example, Sika describes Sikafloor-510 LPL as a fast-curing, UV-resistant polyaspartic urethane product. Those documented properties do not establish identical performance for every product sold as polyaspartic. The contractor should provide the data for the proposed products.
Choose the scope you can evaluate
Do not trade away slab preparation simply for a shorter headline installation time. Ask how the chosen build handles your actual conditions and when each activity can resume.
Review the epoxy guide and polyaspartic guide, then request a system-specific proposal. There is no universal winner without the product and slab details.
