Use measurements rather than car counts
One-, two- and three-car labels are a starting description, not a measured coating area. Record the slab rectangles, alcoves, fixed exclusions, thresholds and vertical surfaces using the floor measurement worksheet. The same size garage can have a different scope when one has old paint, repairs or fixed equipment.
Plan access and the return of contents
Small spaces can need careful staging; larger spaces can need more coordination. Tell the contractor what remains in place and which activities must resume. Request the activity-specific use schedule instead of assuming every item returns when the floor looks dry.
