Separate air conditions from slab conditions
Humidity in the garage, surface condensation, water entering through the door and moisture within the slab are different observations. Record where and when water appears. A city name or a weather forecast is not a test of your concrete.
Request a product-specific assessment
The proposal should identify the method, results and applicable acceptance limit. Do not assume a plastic-sheet observation is interchangeable with every specified moisture test. Ask how test conditions and locations were chosen.

Know the response to an unsuitable result
Ask whether the next step is further evaluation, a documented moisture-management system, resolving water entry or postponing the work. Record any cost and schedule change before agreeing to installation.
