Describe the wet-use situation
Tell the contractor about water from vehicles, the doorway, drains or cleaning. Mention the route people use and any slope. Avoid treating a dry sample as proof of safe performance in those different conditions.
Compare texture and cleanup together
Ask which aggregate or additive is proposed, how it is distributed and how it affects cleaning. Review a representative sample of the final surface, not only the decorative blend. Record any care requirements that keep the intended texture usable.
