Collect the slab records
Provide the pour date if known, builder notes and any curing compound or sealer applied. Tell the contractor about wetting, other construction work and protected or exposed areas. Record uncertainty rather than estimating a date as fact.
Check more than the calendar
Ask which product requirements must be met and which assessment demonstrates that. A general curing interval and a system’s moisture acceptance are different questions. The moisture guide helps organize the conversation.
Plan the surface preparation
The selected build may require removal of a treatment and a defined profile even when the slab is new. Request the preparation method and how suitability will be checked.
Do not arrange coating solely around a move-in date without a contingency. Use the schedule planning guide and get the activity-specific use instructions after installation.
Include the slab records in your project request. The contractor must confirm the actual product and substrate conditions.
