Ask what the topcoat is expected to handle
Describe sunlight, vehicle use, cleaning products and any workshop chemicals. Ask the contractor to connect those exposures to the proposed product data. A generic claim of chemical resistance does not tell you about a particular spilled chemical or its contact time.
Compare appearance and texture together
Review the selected sheen and any traction additive in a sample. Ask how the sample relates to the complete floor build and how cleaning will change with texture. See the gloss guide and surface texture questions.
Understand future maintenance
Ask for the compatible cleaner and how wear or later recoating would be assessed. A final coat can be one part of a maintenance plan, but a refresh is not automatically suitable over every aged floor.
